When the time came to sell our home and liquidate all our furnishings, Stephen & I were a little unsure where to begin. Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined the enormity of the task. Over 40 years of marriage and 27 right here in this house, we have accumulated a lot to clear out. Disposing of Stephens extensive workshop and tools alone, was a daunting thought. Imagine my relief when in February I was headed home and saw a bright green ‘Estate Sale’ sign on a corner by my house. Following that yard sign turned out to be a great idea because it put me in touch with Dixie Brewer and her wonderful team at In Your Wildest Dreams. Meeting with Dixie was a delight. Subsequently, I did some homework and asked around. Everyone I spoke with gave positive reviews and excellent recommendations for Dixie and In Your Wildest Dreams. Her team has professionally and efficiently come into our home and handled our things. They are knowledgeable and delightful. It might be a small thing but, whenever I am around, they are mindful of my feelings and ask how I am doing. Although we have planned this for years, the actual event is emotional, and it is nice that the staff understands that and cares enough to ask. So here we are, the morning of our final sale day. Tonight, we will pretty much be camping out in an empty house. I don’t mean to sound dramatic - it’s actually quite exciting. To you Dixie, and all my new friends at In Your Wildest Dreams, Stephen and I cannot thank you enough.
