Dixie Brewer
Dixie is the owner of In Your Wildest Dreams. Everything in the business begins and ends with her. She is very involved in the day to day operations of Wildest Estate Sales and our storefront, In Your Wildest Dreams Consignment and Antiques. Dixie goes on every house call to assist our estate sale customers in planning the liquidation of their estate. She coordinates and schedules every sale. Dixie prices every sale ensuring clients get as much profit on their estate as possible. She is known for working side by side with her team. No job is too big or too small for her. Dixie's career background includes real estate sales and media sales which has proven to be beneficial in this business. Being an antique collector her entire adult life provided her with the knowledge she needed to start In Your Wildest Dreams. As a young mother, she also learned how to be frugal and save a buck at yard sales and thrift stores. It later became a family tradition, what she did for fun with her mom, sister, and daughter on the weekends. It was inevitable that she would turn her love for people, antiques, and great deals into a thriving business.
Dixie loves to mentor and empower her employees and she considers each of them family. Holidays, birthdays, and most everyday are all spent together. She is inspiring to many and countless people refer to her as their dear friend. She takes the time to listen to people and she cares. She seems to go the extra mile in everything she does.
Interests and Hobbies: Dixie's greatest passion is her 5 grandchildren ranging in ages from 17 to 28 years old. She was born in Mississippi but was raised in Bakersfield, CA and attended North High School. Her many talents and passions include: decorating, hiking, gardening, cooking, the outdoors, horses, and her two dogs Archie and her little princess, a 4 lb Morkie, spritely named, Indie, the Boho Hippie Girl.
Tanner Boyd
Tanner is a 3rd generation family member and grandson to the owner. Tanner has grown up in the world of Estate Sales and IYWD and is a Certified Personal Property Appraiser. Along with Dixie, Tanner offers free house calls and advice to anyone interested in having an estate sale. He will be able to walk you through our entire process and formulate a plan and schedule for your estate. being a certified personal property appraiser, Tanner helps price every Estate sale and is able to give all items their fair value. Research, research, research! He’s the best. Tanner can also be seen with a smile on his face at every estate sale helping customers and taking money behind the front checkout. Not only does he help handle our estate sale business, he is also our storefront’s Luxury specialist where he sets up appointments with clients to have their high end luxury items authenticated and appraised. He handles all things luxury and designer.
Interests: Tanner has many interest. He loves fishing, hiking, and getting in tune with nature all with German Shepard, Luna. While he loves nature and the outdoors, he also loves the big city energy. He travels frequently to LA and other big cities to soak in the feeling of what the city brings. As of 2021, Tanner is a part time options day trader and becoming a master of that market.
Chloe Boyd
Chloe is a 3rd generation Dream Girl and was raised up in the business since she was a little girl. Chloe manages our vendor mall, coordinates all of our events including Second Saturday. She is always smiling and friendly. She is a hard worker handling all social media, Facebook, websites, Instagram, our community liaison, loyalty programs, store promotions, as well as the day-to-day operations at our retail store front.
Interests and Hobbies: Chloe’s interest’s include getting lost in the outdoors, running away to the beach with her boyfriend of 8 years and her dog “Blue”. She spends her time off reading books and doing yoga to re-center herself and get herself ready to keep this dream machine running!
